I WANTED so badly to like this book. I really, really did. I have read all the other FunJungle books and I loved them. This book felt convoluted and sort of reaching for a plot line. Most of it does not have much to do with FunJungle either, it is about a mountain lion outside of the park being hunted by idiots.I just did not think the book was as well thought out and put together as the other FunJungle books. I will definitely continue the series but I hope the next one is better than this.
Lion Down is definitely a really great book. I cannot stop reading! I would definitely recommend Lion Down. It is a pretty good book for experienced readers.
if you want adventure read this!It is out of all my stuart gibbs books my favoriteand i dont lie it has a great stiry line perfect ending and everything else people love im not gonna spoil it but this is my rating :]
i have been waiting for this book to come out and it was just as good as i was expecting. i recomend buying this book for people who enjoyed the previous funjungle books
I bought this book in paper as soon as I got home from school. Let me just say that I am a huge fan of Stuart Gibbs, I've been reading his books over and over since i was 9. However, this book sort of let me down. it didnt have the same energy and interesting characters involved. It just seemed to me that Gibbs sort of laid low on this one. I was disappointed that we didnt get to see much of pete, violet, Charlene, and the funjungle craziness this series is known for. Frankly it was a little boring. I really hope Stuart Gibbs will put a little more effort and imagination intoo the next book, (if there is one idk) I really love this series and I hope it gets a chance to redeem itself :)Thank you for reading this !!!!!(if anyone even does)-12 yr old ~~~~ :)
I was disappointed by this book, feeling as if it had been rushed and more having to do with pushing a political agenda rather than developing a good plot and writing an enjoyable story. I used to preorder all books by Stuart Gibbs, but that will not happen anymore. Hopefully with future releases of Gibbs's books, he will focus on writing instead of pushing a political view in children's books.
It was really good, like all other Stuart Gibbs books. It provides a great stance on animal equality. ðŸ‘highly recommend
